Those wishing to register for the CIPA exam for the second time (retake),please confirm registration through just sending an email to Dar-Almashora.
- The cost of retake =500$
- The final date for registration is on 1/9/2011
The exam place in both Syria and Jordan determined later based on numbers of registers.
Program Objectives:
CIPA program is designed to equip candidates with the requisite technical understanding and professional skills on accountancy for international Islamic banks and financial institutions. Through the CIPA program, candidates will gain advanced knowledge on:
• Objectives and concepts of financial accounting for international Islamic banks and financial
institutions.
• Accounting rules and treatments for international Islamic banking and finance transactions.
• General presentation and disclosure for financial statements of international Islamic banks
and financial institutions.
• Application of Shari’a for international Islamic banking and finance products and services.
• Effective governance and Shari’a compliance structures in international Islamic banks and
financial institutions

CIPA program covers technical subjects that are essential to accountancy for international
Islamic banks and financial institutions, including:
• Development of international Islamic banking and financial systems, and functions of Islamic
banks and financial institutions.
• Accounting concepts and principles for international Islamic banking and finance.
• Qualitative characteristics of accounting information for international Islamic banking and
finance.
• AAOIFI’s Accounting standards on financial reporting for the international Islamic banking
and finance industry.
• AAOIFI’s Shari’a standards on Islamic finance products and practices, and Shari’a basis for
those standards.
• AAOIFI’s Governance standards on Shari’a compliance and review processes
